Nashville Podiatry would like to thank Dr. Stan Embree for providing podiatric care to patients in the surrounding Hendersonville area, and we wish him a happy retirement. The office staff of Nashville Podiatry is looking forward to continuing the same quality podiatric care to his patients and welcoming new patients to our practice. Our goal is to educate each patient and begin a relevant treatment program with the highest quality of care available. Whatever your foot and ankle trouble, we'll work together to find the answers that will comfort you and bring you relief. We take pride in providing you with a comfortable office experience. Our qualified staff is friendly and will ensure a pleasant visit. We have three convenient office locations in the Nashville area: Skyline Medical Center, Gallatin, and Hendersonville.

We would like to introduce Dr. Elizabeth Wakefield. In 2013, she graduated from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. She moved to Columbus, Ohio to complete a threeyear podiatric medicine and surgical residency, with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery, completed in 2016 at Grant Medical Center. Family and community are the center of Elizabeth’s life. She married her high school sweetheart, Nathan, in 2010. Dr. Wakefield’s hobbies include crafting and counted cross stitch, training for her first half marathon, and hiking and camping in the great outdoors.


Dr. Daniel Mendoza has been in private practice, Nashville Podiatry, since 1994. He is board certified in foot surgery. Dr. Daniel Mendoza is a member of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS), Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Daniel Mendoza completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Westview Hospital, Indianapolis, IN. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) Degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a B.S. Degree majoring in Biology, Minor in Chemistry. Dr. Daniel Mendoza has been married to his wife, Jill, for twenty years. They have three children: Gabriel, Noah and Sophia. He enjoys spending time with his family.
